The Samsung WA54CG715WK1 is a good buy for a household that wants a large top-load washer and a full-size electric dryer side by side, and likes the idea of the hookup parts and a year of protection arriving in the same order. It is a poor fit if you need to stack the pair, want a front-load washer, or dry bulky bedding often.
The model number belongs to the bundle, not to one appliance: it covers a Samsung top-load smart washer, a Samsung electric dryer, two water hoses, a dryer power cord and a dryer vent kit.
What the bundle actually contains
The bundle holds two appliances and the parts needed to hook them up. The washer is a Samsung top-load smart model; the dryer is a Samsung electric model with a 7.4 cu ft drum. Alongside them come two water hoses, a dryer power cord and a dryer vent kit.
Each accessory has one job.
The protection plan is separate from the manufacturer's warranty, which runs 12 months on the appliances themselves.
Where the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle earns its keep
The pair is sized for a busy laundry room. The dryer's 7.4 cu ft drum takes a full washer load in one pass.
Loading without bending
A top-load washer lets you drop clothes in from above. That access is the main reason people pick this shape over a front-loader.
Cycles that cover the usual loads
The washer's cycle options include Bedding, Quick Wash, Normal, Heavy Duty and Delicates. The dryer offers 10 drying cycles.
Status on your phone
Both machines work with Samsung's smart platform, so cycle status and notifications reach your phone, and you are not left waiting for a buzzer you cannot hear from another floor.
A standard electric setup
The dryer runs on 240 V, 30 A and up to 5400 W. The included cord, hoses and vent kit mean installation day does not stall on a missing part.

The limits of this bundle are mostly about shape and space, and they determine who should look elsewhere.
It does not stack
This is a side-by-side pair. If your laundry closet is narrow or you planned a stacked tower to free up floor space, this bundle is the wrong configuration.
Bulky bedding is the tight spot
The washer takes a king comforter, but the dryer is the constraint: its 7.4 cu ft drum is a tight space for a large comforter.
A short warranty
Coverage on the appliances runs 12 months, a short window for a major purchase, which is part of why the included protection plan earns its place in the box.

The 27 in width and 32 in depth are the figures to check your laundry room against before you order. The dryer needs a 240 V, 30 A outlet, so confirm the outlet type before delivery.
Fit and hookup checklist
- Confirm a 240 V, 30 A outlet for the dryer.
- The dryer uses standard venting setups and comes with a vent kit included.
The Samsung WA54CG715WK1 suits a family that wants a large top-load washer, has the floor space for two machines side by side, and would rather have the hoses, cord, vent kit and a year of protection arrive with the appliances. It is the wrong buy for a stacked setup, a front-load preference, or a household that washes bulky bedding and waterproof gear often.
Frequently asked questions
A bundle reference hides two separate machines, so the questions worth asking are about fit, hookup and what the box actually holds.
How much laundry can the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 washer take in one load, and will that load fit the dryer?
The Samsung WA54CG715WK1 washer has a 5.4 cu ft drum, and its matching dryer has a 7.4 cu ft drum. A full washer load fits the dryer in one pass, so you do not need to split a family load between machines.
Does the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle include a dryer vent kit, and what venting setup does the dryer need?
A dryer vent kit comes in the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle. The dryer uses standard venting and needs a vent path to the outdoors.
Is the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle suitable for a household that washes waterproof gear or large bedding often?
This bundle is not aimed at a household that regularly washes bulky bedding and waterproof gear: the washer takes a king comforter, but the dryer's 7.4 cu ft drum is a tight space for a large comforter.
Do both appliances in the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle connect to Samsung's smart platform?
Yes, both the washer and dryer in the Samsung WA54CG715WK1 bundle work with Samsung's smart platform. You can get cycle status and notifications on your phone instead of relying on a buzzer.
